# Transmission of values from MSB to ESA — ESA view The MSB transmits the ordered values (from the back-end system or directly from the iMS) to the ESA. When transmitting values at market location level: - The transmission of values takes place from the MSB of the market location to ESA. For the transmission of values at metering location level: - The transmission of values takes place from the MSB of the metering location to ESA.
