Activation of a MaBiS metering point for the settlement aggregated time series from the BIKO to BKV — BKV view
The BIKO activates a MaBiS-ZP for the corresponding billing sum time series and sends the corresponding information to the BKV. The BKV receives at least the following billing sum time series per BK:
- The BAS separated (by the OBIS code) into surplus and deficit of the BK.
- The schedule offtake total (FPE) and schedule feed-in total (FPI) of the BK. The following settlement aggregated time series are only activated if an assignment to the BK exists:
- NB-DZR
- ÜNB-DZR
- Transfer time series secondary control reserve export (SRE) and transfer time series secondary control reserve import (SRI). For the NB DZR, one MaBiS-ZP must be activated per BG at the BKV. In sub-balancing group structures, the BKV of the superordinate BK additionally receives the activation of the BAS of the sub-balancing group (which may already include the deviation of sub-sub-balancing groups). If the BKV of the sub-balancing group is identical to the BKV of the superordinate BK, this additional activation of the BAS is omitted.

Wording of the consolidated version, profile ch. 13.3.1, pp. 181–183.
Preconditions
- The BK for accommodating the NB-DZR is known.
- A declaration of consent from BKV for the inclusion of the NB-DZR is available to BIKO.
- The BK for accommodating the ÜNB-DZR is known.
- The BK for accommodating the SRI and SRE is known. The consent of the BKV to the assignment of the SRI and SRE to the BK has been given.
- The assignment of BAS to other BK is known to BIKO.
- The BG is set up and known for the affected time period (only for the NB-DZR).
- The BK is active in the RZ for the affected time period.
Further requirements
If the assignment of the BK holding the NB DZR or ÜNB DZR changes, the ZPB of the MaBiS-ZP remains the same. This also applies to the ZPB of the MaBiS-ZP of the BAS when balancing group structures change. Once the contractual changes are complete, the BIKO triggers a deactivation or activation process.

Notes on this page
The steps are the possible messages of this process, not a sequence — the source lists neither conditions nor alternatives. The small box on the step names the own view on the left: with ← it receives, with → it sends. Collapsed steps run between other market partners.
The connector table lists no write call for these steps. Derived from the process flow: the process begins for the own role with their message, so the transaction is created.

For this market role there is no write catalog; the step therefore shows only the command of the write call, without address and without button.
