Process information
Wording of the consolidated version, profile ch. 2.9.1.1, p. 58.
Preconditions
- The MSB of the metering location knows the metering location.
- As part of a reading for kME without RLM or mME, the LF or NB has a self-recorded meter reading or a meter reading from a customer reading.
Results
The meter reading previously plausibility-checked by the MSB of the metering location is only transmitted to the MSB of the market location once a trigger for transmission (chapter 2.5.5. “Presentation of the values to be transmitted”) exists.
First message
NB sends “Meter reading (metering location)” (step 1). From here on, it is the turn of the party involved on this page.
Objective
The LF or NB has transmitted the meter reading to the MSB of the metering location.
Other views of the process
The same process through the eyes of the other parties involved: the same steps, each read from their point of view.

Notes on this page
The steps are the possible messages of this process, not a sequence — the source lists neither conditions nor alternatives. The small box on the step names the own view on the left: with ← it receives, with → it sends. Collapsed steps run between other market partners.
These read accesses are not listed in the API catalogue of this format version; the step therefore shows only their command, without address and without button.
