Transmission of the overview of the definitions of NB by NB — NB view
The NB sends
- the overview of the metering time definitions of the NB, which contains all metering time definitions of the NB used by the NB, or
- the overview of the switching time definitions of the NB, which contains all switching time definitions of the NB used by the NB, or
- the overview of the power curve definitions of the NB, which contains all power curve definitions of the NB used by the NB, to all LF and MSB. If the overview changes (e.g. in the overview of the metering time definitions of the NB, metering time definitions of the NB are added or metering time definitions of the NB are removed), the updated overview is sent to all LF and MSB.

Process information
Wording of the consolidated version, profile ch. 1.2.1.1, pp. 6–7.
Preconditions
- The EDIFACT communication between NB and LF or MSB has been established.
Results
The LF or MSB can use the overview to assign the definition transmitted later by the NB to the LF or MSB via the use case “Transmission of a definition of the NB by the NB”.
Further requirements
- If NB uses no metering time definitions of NB or no switching time definitions of NB or no power curve definitions of NB, this is stated in the overview.
- If NB uses a metering time period definition of NB, a switching time definition of NB or a power curve definition of NB that cannot be transmitted within the use case “Transmission of a definition of NB by NB”, it is marked in the respective overview as “not electronically transmittable”.
- In the case of the overview of the metering time definitions of NB:
- If NB uses high-load time windows to determine the maximum power in the case of atypical grid usage (pursuant to § 19 paragraph 2 sentence 1 StromNEV), these are communicated by NB in the use case “Transmission of the overview of the definitions of NB by NB” and in the use case “Transmission of a definition of NB by NB”.
- The overview of the metering time definitions of NB must also be transmitted by NB to the final customer in his role as LF if the final customer assumes the role of LF within the grid usage settlement, insofar as these provisions are applicable to him accordingly.
- In the overview of the metering time definitions of the NB, the NB transmits for each metering time period definition of the NB whether this metering time period definition of the NB can be ordered by the LF or can no longer be ordered, provided that this metering time period definition of the NB is no longer eligible for a future set-up of a metering time period definition of the NB but is still used at individual market locations. If a metering time period definition of the NB can no longer be ordered, it can no longer be ordered by the LF via the use case „Order placement of a configuration from the LF to NB“.
Trigger
The LF or MSB has the current
- Overview of the metering time definitions of the NB or
- Overview of the switching time definitions of the NB or
- Overview of the power curve definitions of the NB not available.
Runs beforehand: Complaint about the overview of the definitions of the NB from LF to NB, Complaint about the overview of the definitions of the NB from MSB to NB — these processes name the one shown here in their result.
First message
The party involved on this page is itself the sender: “Overview of the definitions of the NB” to LF (step 1).
Objective
The LF and MSB have the current
- Overview of the metering time definitions of the NB or
- Overview of the switching time definitions of the NB or
- Overview of the power curve definitions of the NB available.
Other views of the process
The same process through the eyes of the other parties involved: the same steps, each read from their point of view.
Notes on this page
The steps are the possible messages of this process, not a sequence — the source lists neither conditions nor alternatives. The small box on the step names the own view on the left: with ← it receives, with → it sends. Collapsed steps run between other market partners.
